My life! And my hat.
Breathe in… Breathe in… Exhale and let go, As we attempt these steps Once more. Breathe out… Breathe out… Inhale and believe This is always Where it was meant To go. We will fight To let go, And fight To hold on, To the words We can never Speak again; Better left amongst The stars, Better us here, Then left amongst The dead, Searching for life Of thoughts now lost. Breathe in… Breathe out… We will keep our Sights to the East, And our hearts To the West.
Take these bricks down, One by one. Go slow, Until you can see inside. You will find A worn and weathered branch, Holding the place, For something I hope To be returned. Hanging, At varying lengths, Twine to connect Pictures of memories I remember to forget, And hope to replace. As a wind blows through, These knots tied loosely, Purposefully to unwind. Watch them blow away, Following the guest, Absent by nature, But its place will Be held— As to perhaps Tie these knots, With a purpose In which it will not Forget to remember.
It’s been a really long time since I’ve even looked at this. However, an email told me people still look every now and then and I figured I should start posting again. Don’t have time to do all the reblogging and pics and what not, but I’ve still been writing. Some of that will follow soon. Hello again tumblr world.

Although I find problems with the grammar in this message, I often feel this way about my daughter. At this point in my life, she is my number one and at many times, does feel like the only right thing I HAVE DONE.
