Although I find problems with the grammar in this message, I often feel this way about my daughter. At this point in my life, she is my number one and at many times, does feel like the only right thing I HAVE DONE.

Place your hands in my chest And keep them warm, As this indian summer Is fading fast. The leaves will fall, I will be safe As we watch the sunrise, From the place We once called home. This old land is strange, However…welcoming to my love. As I kiss her goodnight, As she rests so innocent, Let us do what we must. In your eyes, I still see love And in your heart, I will always stay warm— As she wraps herself, Sit by close and quiet, Listen closely To hear our hearts Beat together.

I’ve tried my hardest to be original, to be inspired, but I’ve been blank lately. The school year just ended and I couldn’t be happier. One more week and I will be moving back to Illinois (Urbana to be specific). It’s very exciting, but now I’m in anxious, I want to pack, be there and unpack mode. I have a lot planned the first month or so and I think keeping busy will do me some good. Also, I just found out my favorite band ever, Hey Mercedes, is playing another reunion show, one which I will be able to attend as I will no longer live in crap hole Florida. So, if you live in the area, chat me up. I have a lot of friends back in the good ol’ midwest, but I’m excited to make new ones.
I’m sure there will be something that inspires me in the near future. Even though it doesn’t matter, as my tumblarity is currently 9, which means I haven’t reblogged enough (aka being unoriginal).
